“Power praying”, now that’s a thought. After all, who wants to pray without power? Who wants to pray ineffectual, worthless, unproductive and unsuccessful prayers? What do I mean by power praying? Power praying receives SUPERNATURAL ANSWERS! Power praying can shut the heavens, shut the mouths of lions and lying demons and close the doors of hell’s agenda. Power praying can also open up the heavens, releasing the powerful provision of God to be harvested!!!

Power praying is passionate, heartfelt, energized praying. It’s often like a prayer within a prayer. Or stated another way, it’s like SOMEONE praying within your prayer, energizing it with a supernatural power and passion, which is rising from deep within your heart.

“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny. – Romans 8:26-27

When a believing person prays, great things happen. When a believing person talks to God, big things can be done. When a person believes in God and His word, kingdoms are conquered, justice is established, the attacks of the enemy are stopped and his fires are put out. When a believing person prays, God’s protection is secured, weakness is turned to strength, and the fearful become the courageous and mighty. It’s through a believing persons prayer that power to endure difficulties is received. Yes, when a believing person prays, great, big things happen!

It’s time for some power. It’s time to pray!

“…tremendous power is released through the passionate, heartfelt prayer of a godly believer! Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. He actually shut the heavens over the land so there would be no rain for three and a half years! Then he prayed again and the skies opened up over the land so that the rain came again and produced the harvest. – James 5:16-18
